I will follow Jesus

Revelation 21:23 (KJV) says,
“And the city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it:
for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”

I'll follow, I'll follow
I'll follow Jesus everyday, all the way
I'll follow by his grace
I'll follow to the land of everlasting day

This was the song I sang when I painted this.
It just stuck with me, when I started to paint, thinking that she is going somewhere,
following the Light of her life.

Who is the Light of your life?

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me
shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 8:12 KJV

To follow Jesus was the most important and best decision of my life.
There is no turning back. Off course the road is not always easy,
as depicted in my painting, I painted the soil rocky.
In Gr 8 I had a school dairy which I loved to decorate with pictures, memes,
almost like a scrapbook. Other girls loved to page through my diary as it was so
interesting and colourful. One meme read "If He leads you on a rocky road,
He will supply sturdy shoes". They asked me what it meant, all confused.
As young girl I could not explain in detail, although I kind of knew.

Today I know that Jesus will not lead where you cannot follow.
He promise in his Word to make straight and plain your path. Proverbs 3:6.
